The NOLA (National Outdoor Learning Award) is a nationally recognised framework that celebrates learning, growth and personal development through meaningful time outdoors.

At Taller Than Trees, the NOLA is delivered through a series of structured, hands-on specialist session designed to take a deep-dive into specific areas of outdoor survival and take the form of bronze, silver and gold levels. ​

​

The award places equal value on skills, experience and reflection. Learners are encouraged to recognise their own progress, work collaboratively, solve problems and build a deeper connection with the natural world at a pace that suits them.

​

The award is suitable for people of all abilities. Completion of the programme is recognised with certification, marking both personal achievement and time invested in outdoor learning.
