Family Bushcraft Session

Join us in the woods for a relaxed and welcoming Family Bushcraft Session at Taller Than Trees.​

Created especially for families living in Mylor and the surrounding area, these sessions are an opportunity to spend quality time together outdoors, learn practical woodland skills, and connect with other local families in a beautiful natural setting.

Set within our private woodland near Mylor, families will have the chance to take part in a range of bushcraft activities which may include fire lighting, shelter building, woodland crafts, nature discovery, campfire cooking, tracking, tool demonstrations, and seasonal activities inspired by the natural world.

Sessions run in 2-hour time slots throughout the day. Places are limited to ensure a high-quality experience for everyone, so advance booking is essential. Once a session is full, additional

families will need to book onto an alternative time slot.

Whether you're completely new to the outdoors or already enjoy spending time

in nature, our experienced instructors will guide activities suitable for a range of

ages and abilities.

There is no pressure, simply come along, learn something new, enjoy the woodland

environment, and enjoy time together as a family.

We believe that some of life's most valuable lessons are learned outdoors. These sessions encourage curiosity, resilience, teamwork, creativity, and a deeper connection with nature, all in a safe and supportive environment.

Suitable for families with children aged 5+.

Please bring weather-appropriate clothing, sturdy footwear, and a water bottle.
